Playing streak record

The temperatures were not the only things that were at record numbers this July. After 17 days of 30 degrees in Finland I managed to play 18 days in a row – something I don’t think I even came close to in my youth.

As I write this I think the streak is about to end as I plan to squeeze in 9 holes before the thunder comes. I am hopeful this clears up for tomorrow but the end of the week and the weekend looks a bit grim. It has been a great run.

I’ve attached some of the key stats from my rounds. Nothing too dramatic. I’ve played a few scrambles/tournaments that I did not capture in with my Golf Pad Tags.

A few good rounds, some not so good. Always blow up holes and not as many birdies as in previous years but fun as always.

I’ve managed to “survive” this many rounds with a little assistance. This scooter is great as it gets me to and from the golf course plus an actual round on one charge. It makes multiple days so much more mangeable.

Highlights or notables from the past few weeks are a few near misses for holes-in-one, an eagle, losing 7 balls in one round and winning a fancy dress competition.

It was fun while it lasted. Hopefully a few more sunny days still this year.
